Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Porter, age 87, of Port Bolivar, TX, formerly of Lincoln Co., TN, who passed away Saturday, June 09, 2012, at her residence will be conducted Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Mrs. Porter was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, the daughter of the late Frank & Flossie Fears Metcalf. She was a housewife. Survivors include son: Fred Allen Porter of Brenham, TX; daughters: Jo Reba Miles of Fayetteville, TN, Shelia Porter, Brenda Kahla both of Port Bolivar, TX, Pamela Wright of Dahlonega, GA; brother: Hoover Metcalf of Lynchburg, TN; sister: Betty Bethea of Clear Lake, TX; 8 grandchildren and 22 grandchildren.
